Lauren, our practice owner, has 6 years of experience working as a speech therapist. She has a special interest in fluency (stuttering), literacy and auditory processing therapy. She graduated with her Master's degree in 2018 (University of Pretoria), focused on articulation in second-language learners. Lauren is a PROMPT-trained speech therapist and has received DIR training. She has plans to expand her knowledge by completing literacy courses and tailoring literacy therapy to the South African context.
Danielle qualified from The University of Pretoria in 2016 (B.Communication Pathology) and has 8 years of experience working as a speech therapist. She is passionate about early communication intervention and working with children who have complex communication needs and sensory difficulties - such as hearing loss and/or visual impairment

Jodi has been working as a speech therapist for 8 years. She qualified with her bachelors in speech-language pathology in 2016, and received her Masters in AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) with distinction in 2021. She is passionate about supporting children with complex communication needs, including those with minimal or no speech. With a special interest in autism spectrum disorder, Jodi helps children develop functional, meaningful communication through AAC.

Kailin qualified from The University of Pretoria in 2019 (B.Communication Pathology), and received her Master's with distinction in 2022. She is in her fifth year of working as a speech therapist. Kailin is passionate about pre-school language intervention, as well as neurodivergency - having experience in neurodivergent environments since childhood - and as such she strives to equip children with the language and literacy skills needed for academic success. Kailin is a PROMPT-trained speech therapist. She is also currently completing her intermediate Tiny Handz (SASL) training and has plans to expand her knowledge regarding early literacy and play-based learning.

Megan graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2023 with a Bachelor of Speech-Language Pathology and is currently completing her Master’s degree, which focuses on twin language development in South Africa. Her research explores parental recollections, formal language assessments, and language samples to better understand how twins acquire language in the local context. Now in her second year of practice as a speech therapist, Megan is especially passionate about early childhood language development. She has a growing interest in neonatal dysphagia and the delicate care it requires, and she hopes to pursue further training in this area, including a lactation course and PROMPT certification in the future.
