Yes, we are able to submit directly to medical aid. However, it depends on the medical aid plan you are on whether they will cover sessions. It is the parents’ responsibility to confirm with medical aid if sessions will be covered. 

One of our speech therapists would first need to complete an assessment to give an indication of the expected duration of therapy. This is because every child is unique and has different journeys of growth - much like a flower! No single child’s goals, needs, and progress rate will be the same. 

The first step is to schedule an initial consultation with one of our speech therapists. Once contact with one of our therapists has been established, a day and time will be arranged for a meeting and online forms will be provided (patient details and case history). Both parents/caregivers (if possible) and the therapist will attend the initial meeting - the child is not required to attend the intake. The type of assessment, length of time and date for the assessment will be discussed during the intake meeting.

Assessments range between R1967.10 and R2909.70 depending on the needs of the child. When therapy begins, a standard 30 minute session costs R461.30.
